How it works

Like most people, I keep too many tabs open. Most of them belong to something I'm working on—Chrome just doesn't know what. Tasktab is a to-do list in Chrome's side panel where each task can contain 0 to n browser tabs. Check the task off and its tabs close with it. Close them at the end of the day and the task keeps them for tomorrow. Use it already and save your poor RAM.

How it's made

It's a Chrome extension built in TypeScript, with the panel in Preact. Chrome shuts an extension down after 30 seconds of idle, so nothing is kept in memory; every change goes straight to storage. The demo above is the real panel running inside a mocked Chrome, the same one the tests use.
